March 7, 2017 - Mark McInnis wins with Canada Feature

Mark McInnis was recently in Canada doing some shooting with Ben Gulliver and Aftanas Crew Members, Raph Bruhwiler and Pete Devries. McInnis won an award for his gallery which featured photos of Raph and Pete on their Aftanas boards. 

Here's what Mark had to say about his trip to Vancouver Island, "What were the challenges in documenting a trip like this? Oh gosh. Just the volatility of the weather up there. Canada is so unpredictable. I’ve been in Tofino, on the beach, looking at 10-foot onshore slop that you’d never surf — and then an hour later get a call from Raph or Pete saying that it’s offshore and going off. You gotta be on your toes and willing to put in the time and effort it takes to make sure you’re in the right spot at the right time."
